#Step 1: Pre-Op Exam: We begin with a comprehensive pre-operative examinations, that makes sure that you are a good candidate for the surgery. There are various factors that determine the candidacy for laser surgery which include – refractive error, corneal thickness, pupil diameter, eye dryness or any ocular disease. This is a very important step to move further ahead with the surgery.
#Step 2.1: For LASIK Surgery: During the LASIK corrective eye surgery, an ultra-thin flap is created on the eye’s surface., after which laser energy is applied to reshape the eye thereby replacing the flap to serve as a type of natural bandage. The surgeon uses a computer to adjust the excimer laser for your particular prescription.
#Step 2.2: For Custom LASIK Surgery (High-definition Vision): Wavefront LASIK creates a highly individualized laser correction of your eye’s surface, guided by precise analysis of vision errors that occur as light rays travel through your eye.
Post-operative visits ensure that no complication arises and your vision will be the best it could be for the rest of your life.
